Baby Tony is HERE!!!

It's a boy!!! Anthony Martin arrived yesterday morning and I'll let Molly give all of the details, but I thought I would post some pictures. He is just the most perfect, beautiful baby!

{Jack had to get in on the action!}

{Seriously...who looks this good 2 hours after giving birth?!?}

1down 1 to go

So I have been working on 2 quilts for almost 3 years now, and I am excited to say one of them is finished! There is nothing like having a baby on the way to kick me into gear to finish up some projects. I took a beginning quilting class right after Mac was born and this is for him!!! It is amazing how your taste can change in 3 years. I probably would have done a few things differently. I have decided that I like binding that contrasts with the border. I think I would have put the star fabric in a different place too. I hope it's something that Mac will love!

Life changing

The blog world is filled with so many AMAZING ideas, but I really don't follow through on many of them.

This one, though, from Makes & Takes, has changed my life.

Did you know that you can make your OWN microwave popcorn? It is the easiest thing ever!

  • Put 1/4 c popcorn in a brown paper bag,
  • fold the top over a couple of times and tape,
  • pop in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes...until the popping slows,
  • put it in a bowl and top with melted butter & salt.
HOW COOL IS THAT!!!

CC Cookie Dough Balls!

I saw this recipe a long time ago and I am not sure why it took me so long to make them. If you are a fan of cookie dough, give these a try. You might want to double the recipe because they won't be in your fridge for long.
